Newborn Hearing Screening is a simple, safe, quick, and painless assessment designed to identify possible hearing loss in babies shortly after birth. The primary goal of newborn screening is to detect permanent hearing loss at the earliest possible stage, allowing families and healthcare professionals to provide timely guidance, intervention, and support during the critical early months of a child’s development.

Hearing plays an essential role in a baby’s speech, language development, learning ability, social interaction, and emotional growth.
